O’Reilly Media is considered by many to be the best computer book publisher in the world. Tim O’Reilly is its Founder, Chairman, and CEO. Tim is known for “convening conversations” and acting as a liaison between the Tech Sector and the surrounding community of stakeholders, political leaders, and decision makers. In this episode - recorded in February at the Code for America headquarters in San Francisco - we get a chance to sit down with Tim and discuss his 2017 book, WTF: What’s the Future and Why It’s Up to Us. We go into his reasons for writing the book, the major takeaways, and the call-to-action that he puts forth as we brace ourselves for a more technology-centric future.
